She works hard for her money ;)

Today was my first day of work at Victoria's Secret. This is only the second job I've ever had (I worked on and off  at Abercrombie and Fitch in high school), but I actually enjoy working. That might sound weird, but there is definitely something to say for making your own money. It's a very empowering feeling that I am glad to have.

My mom  has been in Vegas with my dad for their anniversary, so I have officially lived on my own. Talk about another empowering feeling. I have come to learn that you often times dont realize what exactly you are capable of if you have always had someone taking care of you. It's kind of nice to see what I am able to do on my own. I'm surprising myself.

My parents will be back tomorrow; my dad only for a few days, and my mom is staying a bit longer thankfully before she goes home for good.  I am looking forward to seeing my dad, its been almost a month now. They'll be back tomorrow afternoon, and I'll be able to show my dad around LA (yes I actually have grasped the city already, ANOTHER great feeling) because he has never been to Cali.

Well, Im going to get to bed, I have to be up in about 6 hours. Yes, that's right, this blog is SHORT! Hey, there's a first for everything ;)

xoxo B

  1. ..maybe change the title to.."I'm fake and I don't work hard for the money, I just get spoiled rotten and hold jobs that require no real thinking and I won't benefit society whatsoever"

xoxo a dose of reality. there's a first for everything ;)

  2. You'd have to ask her close friends about that one. They have more experience in the whole envy/jealousy field. My comment comes from truth, but I can see where your instantaneous remark about jealousy would be the easiest form of defense. All the more power to her if she wants to be a materialistic and superficial bimbo the rest of her life. That's nothing to be jealous about. Hey, to each their own. Besides, if she's going to put it out for the world to see, she should expect criticism. Think of it as constructive criticism though.

This would be the part where you say something clever about haters :)

  4. It's *loser, and *successful..and it's not crap sweetheart, it's the harsh truth you don't want to see because she must have you wrapped around her finger or something..unless this is B and she's talking via someone, because she must be claiming "I don't care what people think"

When someone signs "me" that's not a characteristic of being concieted, it's simply stating that I wrote it...

Why are you so interested in defending her? A person who has nothing to defend usually doesn't need someone to argue for them, despite harsh "crap talking" ;)

  5. p.s. This is the part where you say something clever like, "keep talking, you are making her more famous." haha. I just saved you the trouble of responding. ;]

  8. I feel truly sorry for the individuals that are so miserable in their own lives that they go above and beyond to try to make others unhappy. If the "haters" knew this girl as much as they claim then they would also know that nothing can keep her down! You are a great person B and deserve every opportunity you have created for yourself!
